David Keltz: Edgar Allan Poe
David Keltz gave his first performance as Edgar Allan Poe on Halloween night 1991 at Poe's grave. Delighting all ages, he commands five hours of Poe's poems, short stories, essays, literary criticism, letters and reported conversations.
Beginning with "The Tell-Tale Heart," Mr. Keltz added "The Black Cat," "The Facts in the Case of M. Valdemar," "Hop-Frog," "The Cask of Amontillado," "Some Words with a Mummy," and "The Spectacles" to his repertoire. In keeping with Edgar Poe's own "Poetic Principle," Mr. Keltz recites "To Helen," "Annabel Lee," "The Raven," and many more of Poe's famous poems.
Besides traditional theatre settings, performance spaces as diverse as castles, libraries, medical theatres, and private dining rooms provide the backdrop for his personification of the genius we recognize as Edgar Allan Poe. Each performance is tailored to the particular audience and ranges from 10 minutes to 2 hours.

About the Annual Conference on tourism
October 18, 2018
5:30 - 7:30pm
Doors open at 5:00 for the Red Carpet Welcome.
Four Points by Sheraton (formerly Stonehill)
The drivers of tourism come from all directions. Across the nation... or next door. This year the 2018 Annual Conference on Tourism celebrates Hollywood! And the impact Hollywood has on tourism.
Since 2009 the Cleveland film industry has generated over $400 million dollars in the general Cleveland communities. The film industry touches the private sector through car and equipment rentals, restaurants, hotels, Home Depot, and local commerce sales. In fact, each film producer is incentivized to utilize local vendors to take advantage of local tax incentives. Tax dollars that go right back in to our community.
This year the Lake County Visitors Bureau is excited to welcome Ivan Schwarz President & CEO of the Greater Cleveland Film Commission, David Keltz as Edgar Allen Poe, and Kim Riffle of A Christmas Story House and Museum.
Bring your camera (phone) as you will want to take lots of photos... Including a photo at the Lake Health Red Carpet!
